				| Is it possible to select a position from the map, and tell D6 to "navigate to" that point?
By the same token, is it possible to select a point on a map and add it as a favourite?

My mum lives in the middle of nowhere- the postcode isn't recognised and it's about 2/3 of the way along a minor road. I want to add her house into my favourites, and at the moment I can't figure out how to do it.

				| Most street routing programs will only allow POIs on or close to streets. You'll have to set the POI accordingly.
Report map errors to the map providers - only reporting will help to eventually improve the data.

				| Assuming you're using a Pocket PC, my free OS GPS Convertor utility will do it: http://www.freenetpages.co.uk/hp/barrydavies/index.htm
Be warned that I have never used Destinator, but added in support for it at the request of a user on this forum about 18 months ago, who spent a fair bit of time getting it to work. If it doesn't work for your version of Destinator, I'd need your technical input to make it work!
 Good luck

				| Thanks Barry, that looks like exactly the sort of thing I'm after. I'll let you know how I get on so you can get some feedback as to how it works in D6. _________________

You can tap on a point on the map whilst navigating and a window pops up with "Go there", "Add to favourites" and something else which I can't remember. Wouldn't that serve your needs?
