				| There is now a new download (FortunaSync and V2.26) from Fortuna with instructions on how to update the firmware  http://www.fortuna.com.tw/Support.htm. Fingers crossed. JG

				| Many thanks for the information. 
 There is also a new driver update (dated March 2004) at http://www.fortuna.com.tw/download.htm for Windows 9X ; 2000 ; ME ; XP as well as the existing Linux and Mac OSX drivers.

 Did mess it up when trying to download the new firmware. My GPSmart BT is now dead and useless.
 Any idea how to program FW in a dead unit. Can the PROM be removed and reprogrammed??
 Did mail fortuna support but no answear
 
 Please help!

 Matrox has explained how to flash a 'dead' unit.
