Just to let you all know about garmin support. After buying my Nuvi 760 on the 28th Oct I updated to the latest europe 2009 maps and came down to the south of France, When I got here my computer crashed and I lost everything and the backups I had made. Got in touch with Garmin this morning and they have extended my maps update to the 9th dec. the person I spoke to was very understanding and offered all the help he could give me, I think the service was great and I recomend them to anyone, long live garmin.

regards

				| This is really interesting to see as there seems to be a very clear switch to Garmin going on at present. With TomTom in big trouble right now it be will interesting to see what happens next year. I have three Garmin's and never had a problem with either. |

				| I can agree that Garmin customer service is excellent. On the 2 or 3 times I've had to contact them they have been more than helpful, on one occasion sending me a new battery cover for my GPSMAP60 free of charge, even though the old one broke more than a year after the warranty expired. |

spoke to a guy called "Steve" he was really really helpful and i didnt feel rushed when talking to him, he went through all my Questions and answered them all with ease

so pleased i bought a Garmin now, had problems with very rude TomTom Customer Service on several occasions!
