				| Get them to fit a GPS receiver to the ball to work out how far it travels in a match and I might get interested, even at school when in sports they played football for 3 hours a week, the only contribution I could make was to imitate a goalpost - Hate the sport, each to their own though - Mike
PS if you like the new sound that accompanys football these days try a weekend break in North West Scotland, Midge repellent isn't much use but the smell of diesel works very well - Mike

				| there's nothing i can think of that is worse than watching 22 blokes running around a field kicking a sack of air.
it cracks me up (but annoys me at the same time) that these footballers, considering how much they get paid, can't put up with a bit of noise while they work for 90 minutes once every week or so. i have 2 kids and a wife here while i work for 7-9 hours every day but their noise doesn't make the news...!!

				| Huh. Usually surrounded by people who know all the stats and players and can discuss it from now to eternity. [/Yawn]
I'll be honest and say i enjoy watching a good match but it's refreshing not to feel out of place because i don't know which English Premiership League Club half the opposing team players play for......

				| I once won a VIP weekend to Old Trafford to watch Man U v Chelsea. My work colleagues were dismayed and considered it wasted on me. They were even more dismayed the following Monday when I told them that I had met Gary Beckham during my tour. _________________
