Even though I'm sure I read somewhere that Garmin icons can't be larger than 24x24 on the newer devices with higher resolutions, they can:
Taken from my 2597 as a test, will be put on my 2599 later:
24x24 :
44x44 :

That's useful to know as like you I have been stuck with the small (24 x 24) speed camera icons. Good shout and with hindsight seeing some of the pre-installed Garmin POIs with larger icons should have been a prompt to test this out much earlier.
Thanks for the tip and making my icons larger now. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

| Are there any larger ones to download? I vaguely remember stories about 44x44 being available, but can't find them. |

Found some HERE but obviously haven't investigated further, yet.
Downloaded OK. I feel some renaming coming on so that the match the requirements for Garmin CSV converter/POI Loader.

Yes, that's where the icon(s) in my second picture came from. _________________ Lets be careful out there ! |

| What does the filename have to be renamed to so that they are compatible with your CSV converter. |

I've moved my old ones to a save folder and put the new ones in place of the old ones in my PGPSW/ folder

If you download the TomTom OV2 format you will get 44x44 files in there. You'll need to rename them though as they're suffixed with _X2
Hope that helps?
