|
|
| Strange one this! When in general browse mode I can see the roads, when I stat using the app in the car and its tracking my course, small B/C class roads essentially vanish! I have tried using the different map types, but to no avail. Just wondered if anybody else had come across similar and if there was a fix? Thanks |

We use Google's Maps API so this is down to how they handle maps at different zoom levels.
On mine they don't disappear but they are very feint depending on the surrounding area and the zoom level. Personally one of the worst things Google did with their maps was to make it all so grey... Grey roads on a grey background really isn't that helpful.
Could you maybe email me with some screenshots so I can compare to mine? It may also be worth clearing cache for the app and possibly even rebooting the phone.

| The clear cache and reboot has brought it back, albeit very very faint! I have an old iphone with camera alert on and the difference in the display is like night and day with b-roads so much clearer. Must be something in the difference between how the two makes of phone display maps? |

iPhone version uses the built in Apple Maps SDK and the Android version uses Google Maps SDK.
Unfortunately Google through it would be good to make everything grey and pale blue so it's really bloody hard to see it now... |
