TomTom connect blank screen after connect update

Just tried to update my device, and they have a new logon step where you need to move an icon to complete a curvy line. I did this, and then it just died... restarting it just gave me a blank screen.
I had to go into the settings in the icon on the task bar and change the graphics, and then it was all ok.
